PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALA MEDA COUNTY, C7ALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO_ PC-2005-06 <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF BRIAN ARK1N FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PAP-74 <PDR-427 <br />WHEREAS, Brian Arkin has appealed the Zoning Administrator's approval of Case PDR-427, the <br />application of Christine Truesdale, for W.A. Craig, Inc., for design review approval to <br />allow the installation of an approximately 12,000-gallon above-ground diesel fuel tank <br />for the refueling of company vehicles and equipment and to allow landscape screening at <br />5675 Sunol Boulevard; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning For the properties is I-P Industrial Parks District- and <br />WHEREAS, ai its duly noticed public hearing of January 12, 2005 that was continued to February 9, <br />2005, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application- and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act (G'EQA~; therefore, no environmental document accompanied <br />this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project is consistent with the <br />appearance of existing structures in the area_ <br />NOW, THEIZ_EFORE, THE Pi.ANN1NG COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASAN TON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1 . Denies Case PAP-74, the appeal of Brian Arkin, thereby upholding the Zoning <br />Administrator's approval of Case PDR-427, the application oT Christine Truesdale, Ibr <br />W.A. Craig, Inc_, for design review approval to allow the installation of an approximately <br />] 2,000-gallon above-ground diesel fuel tank for the refueling of company vehicles and <br />ccluipmcnt and to allow landscape screcnin~+ ai 5675 Sunol Boulevard, subject to the <br />conditions shown in Exhibit B, attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 1 5 days after its passage and adoption unless <br />appealed prior to that time. <br />
