PLANNING COMM1SS10N CITY OF PLEASAN TON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO_ PC-2005-03 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLi G'ATiON OF TAMES BYRD <br />FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER C7AS1=, PDR-355 <br />WHEREAS, James Byrd has applied to modify a previously approved design review <br />application to demolish portions of the existing building at 328 St_ Mary Street, to <br />remodel the remaining portions, and to construct additions totaling approximately <br />700 square feet in area; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial, Downtown Revitalization <br />District, Cora Area Overlay District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of _Ianuary 26, 2005, the Platitiing Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt Isom the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (C'.EQA), and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project is consi stmt with <br />the appeara»ce of the existing buildings in the area. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNIN C: COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLl?ASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Saetic>n 7 Al~prc>vas Casa P17R-'355, tlia applieatio» of Junzcs Liyrcl t-c r cl c-sign review <br />approval to dexriolish portions of-the existing building ai 32H Si_ Mary Slre~<-t, to <br />remodel the remaining portions, and to construct additions totaling appro xiinately <br />700 square feet in area, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference_ <br />Section 2.
