HEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-08 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INTERIM POLICY <br />FOR NEW DEVELOPMENT APPLICATIONS DURING <br />THE WEST LAS POSITAS INTERCHANGE STUDY <br /> <br />City Council has initiated the West Las Positas Interchange Study, as set <br />forth in the General Plan, which could result in modifications to the <br />General Plan's circulation network and, possibly, in changes to the levels of <br />service projected for affected intersections; and <br /> <br />at its January 7 and 21, 1997 meetings, Council reviewed options for <br />processing new development applications during the West Las Positas <br />Interchange Study; and <br /> <br />Council took public testimony at these hearings; and <br /> <br />Council has determined that approving new projects while the Study is in <br />progress without interim policies could limit its options for implementing <br />the recommendations of that Study; and <br /> <br />Council determined that it is in the best interests of the City to establish <br />interim policies for reviewing new development applications during this <br />period. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFOE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The City Council hereby adopts the interim policies as shown on Exhibit <br />"A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
