<br />PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-91-19 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE PUD-91-18, THE <br />APPLICATION OF SHAPELL INDUSTRIES OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Shapell Industries of Northern California has applied for <br />rezoning to PUD (Planned Unit Developmentl - MDR (Medium <br />Density Residentiall, LDR (Low Density Residentiall and <br />RDR (Rural Density Residential), for PUD Development Plan <br />approval, and for Land Conservation Contract (williamson <br />Actl cancellation to allow construction of 115 single- <br />family units on an approximately 104 acres site; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is A (Agriculturel;and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of March 13, 1991, <br />the Planning Commission, after considering all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this proposal, certified an <br />Environmental Impact Report for Case PUD-91-19; <br />recommended approval of the CEQA findings; and <br />recommended cancellation of the Williamson Act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission determined that the proposed <br />rezoning to the PUD (Planned Unit Developmentl - Medium <br />Density Residential, Low Density Residential, and Rural <br />Density Residential district conforms to the General <br />Plan; and that the proposed development plan is <br />consistent with the purposes of the PUD District <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the application of Shapell <br />Industries of Northern California for rezoning to PUD <br />(Planned Unit Developmentl MDR (Medium Density <br />Residentiall, LDR (Low Density Residentiall and RDR <br />(Rural Density Residentiall, for PUD Development Plan <br />approval to allow construction of 115 single-family units <br />on an approximately 104 acres site subject to the <br />conditions shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made <br />part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
