<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-91-12 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />PREPARED FOR CASE GP-91-1, THE APPLICATION OF JOSEPH MADDEN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Joseph Madden has applied to amend the Land Use Element <br />designation of the General Plan from "Commercial and <br />Offices" to "High Density Residential," or to any other <br />land use designation deemed in the public interest of an <br />approximately 6 acre site located generally on the north <br />side of Stanley Boulevard approximately mid-way between <br />Rachael Place and valley Avenue on the south side of the <br />Western Pacific Railroad right-of-way; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of <br />Commission received <br />Case GP-91-1; and <br /> <br />February 27, 1991, the Planning <br />a proposed negative declaration for <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial study dated February 1, 1991, and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission finds <br />proposed project would not have <br />effects on the environment. <br /> <br />that approval of the <br />any significant adverse <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for the application of Joseph Madden to amend <br />the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan from <br />"Commercial and Offices" to "High Density Residential," <br />or to any other land use designation deemed in the public <br />interest of an approximately 6 acre site located <br />generally on the north side of Stanley Boulevard <br />approximately mid-way between Rachael Place and Valley <br />Avenue on the south side of the Western Pacific Railroad <br />right-of-way. <br />
