<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-92-23 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF KAUFMAN AND BROAD FOR GENERAL PLAN <br />AMENDMENT AND PLAN UNIT DEVELOPMENT REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT <br />PLAN APPROVAL AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-91-17 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kaufman and Broad has applied to amend the Land Use <br />Element designation of the General Plan from "High <br />Density Residential" to "Medium Density Residential" and <br />for planned unit development (PUD) rezoning and <br />development plan approval to construct 108 single family <br />homes on an approximately 17 acre parcel located at 3801 <br />Stanley Boulevard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March <br />received a proposed <br />PUD-91-17; and <br /> <br />11, 1992, the Planning commission <br />negative declaration for Case <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated January 15, 1992, and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br />public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br />environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the <br />proposed project would not have any significant adverse <br />effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section I. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for the application of Kaufman and Broad to <br />amend the Land Use Element designation of the General <br />Plan from "High Density Residential" to "Medium Density <br />Residential" and for planned unit development (PUD) <br />rezoning and development plan approval to construct 108 <br />single family homes on an approximately 17 acre parcel <br />located at 3801 Stanley Boulevard. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />
