<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-94-03 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE RZ-94-1, THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO ADD CHAPTER 17.48, <br />RELATING TO THE RIGHT TO FARM, TO TITLE 17 (PLANNING AND <br />RELATED MATTERS) OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city of Pleasanton has applied to add Chapter 17.48, <br />relating to the Right to Farm, to Title 17 (Planning and <br />Related Matters) of the Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of January 26, 1994, <br />the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the <br />requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission determined that the proposed <br />ordinance supports and encourages continued agricultural <br />operations adjacent to new or existing residential and <br />commercial properties, and promotes a good neighbor <br />policy between agricultural and non-agricultural <br />property-owners. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />section 1. Recommends approval of Case RZ-94-01, the application <br />of the City of Pleasanton to add Chapter 17.48, relating <br />to the Right to Farm, to Title 17 (Planning and Related <br />Matters) of the Municipal Code, as shown on Exhibit "A," <br />attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />section 2.
