PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-95-23 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE RZ-95-02, THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE TO ELIMINATE REFERENCES TO THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD WHEREAS, on March l6, 1993, the City Council approved an ordinance which eliminated the Design Review Board, transferring its responsibilities to the Zoning Administrator and/or Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, Chapter 18.20 of the Municipal Code (Design Review Board) was amended to reflect the new design review process; and WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the Pleasanton Municipal Code to eliminate references to the Design Review Board; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of April 12, 1995, the Planning commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the city staff concerning this application; and WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed changes would increase the Municipal Code's internal consistency, as well as the consistency of the Municipal Code with current planning department design review procedures. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: section 1. Recommends approval of Case RZ-95-02, the application of the city of Pleasanton to amend the Pleasanton Municipal Code to eliminate references to the Design Review Board, as shown on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. section 2.
