<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-95-23 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE RZ-95-02, THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE PLEASANTON <br />MUNICIPAL CODE TO ELIMINATE REFERENCES TO THE DESIGN REVIEW <br />BOARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on March l6, 1993, the City Council approved an ordinance <br />which eliminated the Design Review Board, transferring <br />its responsibilities to the Zoning Administrator and/or <br />Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 18.20 of the Municipal Code (Design Review Board) <br />was amended to reflect the new design review process; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the <br />Pleasanton Municipal Code to eliminate references to the <br />Design Review Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of April 12, 1995, <br />the Planning commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the city staff <br />concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the <br />requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed <br />changes would increase the Municipal Code's internal <br />consistency, as well as the consistency of the Municipal <br />Code with current planning department design review <br />procedures. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />section 1. Recommends approval of Case RZ-95-02, the application <br />of the city of Pleasanton to amend the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code to eliminate references to the Design <br />Review Board, as shown on Exhibit "A," attached hereto <br />and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON THE 12TH DAY OF APRIL 1995 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />. <br />
