<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-9S-18 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE PROPOSED USE OF A CORIAN PRODUCT <br />RETAIL SALES/FABRICATION BUSINESS IS A PERMITTED USE WITHIN <br />THE CENTRAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Thomas Cavala has applied for design review approval for <br />the remodeling of an existing building, for construction <br />of a new building, and for demolition of an existing <br />metal building and various out-buildings located at 4425 <br />Railroad Avenue (generally the southwest corner of the <br />Railroad Avenue/Division street intersection); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a use determination for replacement of the former machine <br />shop with a corian product retail saleS/fabrication <br />business was also requested, as the proposed use is not <br />specified as an allowable use in the Central Commercial <br />district; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed meeting of March 8, 1995, the <br />Planning commission considered all public testimony, <br />relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission determined that the proposed <br />corian product retail sales/fabrication business is <br />similar to a picture frame shop which is a permitted use <br />in the Central Commercial zoning district. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />section 1. Determines that the proposed corian product retail <br />saleS/fabrication business is a permitted use in the <br />Central Commercial zoning district. <br /> <br />Section 2.
