<br />PLANNING COMMISSXON OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-95-05 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FINDING THAT CASE PUD-U-04 IS CONSISTENT WXTH <br />THE GENERAL PLAN AND PUD-MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL <br />ZONING FOR THE SITE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, New cities Development Group (Frederick Bates) and the <br />Stringer Company (Scott Stringer) have applied for <br />Planned Unit Development (PUD) Development Plan approval <br />for the construction of 43 detached single-family homes <br />on three properties totaling 7. 6x acres located generally <br />at the northwest corner of the Pleasanton Avenue/st. John <br />street intersection (4227 Pleasanton Avenue; 721 st. John <br />street; and 675 st. John street [the former Graham-Hitch <br />mortuary site]); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />- MDR (Medium Density Residential), and Public Health and <br />Safety District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of January 25, 1995, <br />the Planning Commission, after considering all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application, recommended <br />approval of the proposed negative declaration for Case <br />PUD-94-04; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning commission determined that the project is <br />consistent with the General Plan and the PUD-MDR zoning <br />of the property. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. Finds that Case PUD-94-04, the application of New <br />cities Development Group (Frederick Bates) and the <br />stringer Company (Scott stringer) for Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) Development Plan approval for the <br />construction of 43 detached single-family homes on three <br />properties totaling 7.6x acres located generally at the <br />northwest corner of the Pleasanton Avenue/St. John Street <br />intersection (4227 Pleasanton Avenue; 721 st. John <br />street; and 675 st. John street [the former Graham-Hitch <br />mortuary site]) is consistent with the General Plan and <br />the PUD-MDR zoning of the property. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />. <br />
