<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2004-26 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING A NEGA TIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF <br />CARDEN WEST SCHOOL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PCUP-lll <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Carden West School has applied for conditional use permit approval to allow the <br />operation of a private school having a projected enrolment of up to 440 students <br />from preschool through the eighth grade in an existing building located at <br />4576 Willow Road in the Hacienda Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated April 28, <br />2004, and received the recommendations of staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 28, 2004, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />negative declaration for Case PCUP-111; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of <br />the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that the proposed project will have no <br />potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Adopts the Negative Declaration prepared for Case PCUP-lll, the application of <br />Carden West School for conditional use permit approval to allow the operation of <br />a private school having a projected enrolment of up to 440 students from <br />preschool through the eighth grade in an existing building located at 4576 Willow <br />Road in the Hacienda Park. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Finds that the proposed project will have a de minimus impact on the site's <br />wildlife. <br />
