<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2004-20 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />HACIENDA OWNERS ASSOCIATION/CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND <br />CHAPTER 18.116 (TEMPORARY USES) OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL <br />CODE, AS FILED UNDER CASE PRZ-23 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Hacienda Owners Association/City of Pleasant on has filed an application to <br />amend Chapter 18.116 (Temporary Uses) of the P1easanton Municipal Code <br />regarding regulations for outdoor events to permit the administrative approval of <br />outdoor company employee events and outdoor sales if certain criteria are met; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of March 10,2004, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning the amendment of the Municipal Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 21080.17 of <br />the California Public Resources Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed amendment would <br />streamline the review process for outdoor company employee events and outdoor <br />sales. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case PRZ-23, the application of the City of Pleasant on <br />to amend Chapter 18.116 (Temporary Uses) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code <br />regarding regulations for outdoor events to permit the administrative approval of <br />outdoor company employee events and outdoor sales if certain criteria are met, as <br />shown on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and made part ofthis case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br />
