<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2004-011 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION <br />OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR SIGN DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PSDR-173 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant on has applied for sign design review approval for an exterior <br />sign program for the Civic Center site located in the general area generally <br />bounded by Bernal Avenue, Old Bernal Avenue, and Main Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is P (Public & Institutional) Downtown Revitalization <br />Overlay District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of January 28, 2004, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the installation of a total of 13 new <br />signs and two campus directory maps within the Civic Center is appropriate <br />signage. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PSDR-173, the application of the City of Pleasant on for an <br />exterior sign program for the Civic Center site located in the general area <br />generally bounded by Bernal Avenue, Old Bernal Avenue, and Main Street, <br />subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of <br />this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
