<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2004-04 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />THE APPLICATION OF V ALLEY PARK ASSOCIATES, LLC, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-30/PSP-5 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Valley Park Associates, LLC has applied for PUD rezoning and development plan <br />approval to construct an approximately 15,300-square-foot office building and <br />related site improvements and for Specific Plan Amendment to the Downtown <br />Specific Plan to allow a two-story building at 325 Ray Street where only <br />one-story buildings are permitted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission received and reviewed the Initial Study, dated <br />November 17,2003, and received the recommendations of staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 14,2004, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />negative declaration for Case PUD-30/PSP-5; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of <br />the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that the proposed project will have no <br />potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for <br />Case PUD-30/PSP-5, the application ofVaJley Park Associates, LLC, for PUD <br />rezoning and development plan approval to construct an approximately <br />15,300-square-foot office building and related site improvements and for Specific <br />Plan Amendment to the Downtown Specific Plan to allow a two-story building at <br />325 Ray Street where only one-story buildings are permitted. <br />
