Valley Avenue Soundwall Repair Project (REBID), CIP No. 18437 Page 23 CONTRACT VALLEY AVENUE SOUNDWALL REPAIR (REBID) PROJECT NO. 18437 THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into this 21 day of October, 2025 by and between B and D Excavation and Construction, ("Contractor"), whose address is 455 Horn Av., Santa Rosa, CA 95407 and telephone number is 415-629-7673 and the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal corporation ("City"). W I T N E S S E T H: WHEREAS, the City has awarded to the Contractor a contract for VALLEY AVENUE SOUNDWALL REPAIR (REBID), PROJECT NO. 18437 , NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth herein, the parties agree as follows: 1. Work to be Performed. In general, this work consists of repairs to existing soundwalls including placement of new tube steel in drilled piers; connection to existing precast concrete soundwall panels with expansion anchors in drilled holes; sidewalk removal and replacement; landscape removal; and placement of new wood cladding. Said work is more particularly shown in the following documents which are on file with the Engineering Department of the City and are incorporated herein by this reference: A.Approved Plans and Specifications entitled VALLEY AVENUE SOUNDWALL REPAIR (REBID), PROJECT NO. 18437, and addenda thereto, if any. B.Contract Change Orders approved by the City Engineer, done in accordance with the Standard Specifications. C.The elements of the proposal submitted to the City by the Contractor, which the City has accepted. 2. Compensation. The City shall pay the Contractor for work actually performed at the unit prices set out in the Contractor's proposal to the City as set forth in Exhibit A of this agreement and incorporated herein. The quantities of work stated therein are estimates only; actual quantities will be measured for payment in accordance with the specifications.
