<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-l4 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF THE <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON TO REZONE A PARCEL AT 65 RAY STREET <br />(INTERSTATE NUCLEAR SERVICES SITE), AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-96-01 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasant on has applied for rezoning of an approximately 1.02 acre <br />parcel located at 65 Ray Street from the Service Commercial (C-S) district to the <br />Planned Unit Development (PUD) - Service Commercial (C-S)/Office (0) district, <br />or to any other zoning designation deemed in the public interest; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-S (Service Commercial), Downtown Revitalization, <br />Core Area Overlay District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of February 28,1996, the Planning <br />Commission, after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application, recommended <br />approval of the proposed negative declaration for Case PUD-96-01; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the PUD-C-S/O zoning district is the <br />most appropriate land use for the site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case PUD-96-0l, the application of the City of <br />Pleasanton to rezone an approximately 1.02 acre parcel located at 65 Ray Street <br />(Interstate Nuclear Services site) from the Service Commercial (C-S) district to <br />the Planned Unit Development (PUD) - Service Commercial (C-S)/Office (0) <br />district, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made <br />part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Secti on 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
