<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-l3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO <br />REZONE THE INTERSTATE NUCLEAR SERVICES SITE, AS FILED UNDER <br />CASE PUD-96-0 I <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has submitted an application to rezone an approximately <br />1.02 acre parcel from the Service Commercial (C-S) district to the Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) - Service Commercial (C-S)/Office (0) district, or to any <br />other zoning designation deemed in the public interest located at 65 Ray Street <br />(the Interstate Nuclear Services site); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-S (Service Commerical), Downtown Revitalization, <br />Core Area Overlay District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 28, 1996, the Planning Commission received a <br />proposed negative declaration for Case PUD-96-0 I; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated <br />February 5, 1996, and received the recommendations of staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the <br />opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case PUD-96-0l, <br />the application of the City of Pleasant on to rezone an approximately 1.02 acre <br />parcel from the Service Commercial (C-S) district to the Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) - Service Commercial (C-S)/Office (0) district, or to any <br />other zoning designation deemed in the public interest located at 65 Ray Street <br />(the Interstate Nuclear Services site). <br />
