<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-96-06 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF S&G DISCOUNT CARPETS <br />FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-85-8-8D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, S&G Discount Carpets has applied for design review approval for an <br />approximately 13,036 sq. ft. retail carpet showroom and store located at 5871 <br />Owens Drive (Lot SID in the Hacienda Business Park); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O <br />(Industrial/Commercial - Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of January 24, 1996, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed building has been <br />generally well-designed in a manner which would complement the other buildings <br />in the immediate area. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Secti on 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PUD-85-8-8D, the application ofS&G Discount Carpets for <br />design review approval for an aproximately 13,036 sq. ft. retail carpet showroom <br />and store located at 5871 Owens Drive (Lot SID in the Hacienda Business Park), <br />subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of <br />this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
