RESOLUTION NO. 2025-019 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AUTHORIZING <br /> STAFF TO ACCEPT THE TRANSPORTATION FUND FOR CLEAN AIR GRANT FUNDS FOR <br /> PLEASANTON CITYWIDE TRIP REDUCTION PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEARS 2024/25 <br /> AND 2025/26 <br /> WHEREAS, the Alameda County Transportation Commission, as Transportation Fund for <br /> Clean Air (TFCA) Program Manager in Alameda County, programs 40 percent of TFCA funds <br /> collected in Alameda County, and then distributes these funds on a reimbursement basis to <br /> eligible project sponsors; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Pleasanton Citywide Trip Reduction Program Grant application is eligible <br /> for grant funding, which will be used to provide education-based and incentive-based programs <br /> that promote alternative transportation modes (transit, walking, biking, carpooling), including <br /> Travel Demand Management programs, and projects that provide a direct or indirect financial <br /> transit or rideshare subsidy. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Authorizes the City Manager to accept the Transportation Fund for Clean <br /> Air grant funds for the Pleasanton Citywide Trip Reduction Program in the amount of $85,000, <br /> as referenced in Exhibit A, and execute all necessary documents required by the grant program. <br /> SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on May 20, 2025. <br /> I, Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the <br /> foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on May 20, <br /> 2025, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert, Testa, Mayor Balch <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> J lyn Kw ng, i y Clerk <br /> AP ROVEp A TO FORM: <br /> Daniel G.
