<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2025-01 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND DESIGN REVIEW FOR <br />TRI-VALLEY BREAD OF LIFE CHRISTIAN CHURCH <br />6622 OWENS DRIVE <br /> [CASE NOS. P24-0635 AND P24-0636] <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on October 10, 2024, Tong Wang for Tri-Valley Bread of Life Christian Church, <br />applied for a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) (P24-0635) and Design Review (DR) <br />(P24-0636) to operate a religious facility within an existing building with no more <br />than 110 participants at one time and to change the existing exterior roll-up door <br />to a storefront window within an existing building within the Pleasanton Business <br />Park Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-I/C-O (Planned Unit Development – Industrial, <br />Commercial, Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, religious facilities within an existing building are a conditionally permitted use in <br />the subject District, and require Planning Commission approval of a Conditional <br />Use Permit (CUP); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on January 22, 2025, the Planning Commission held a duly-noticed public <br />hearing and considered relevant exhibits, recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application, and received testimony from the applicant and <br />interested parties; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton, based on the entire record of proceedings, including the oral and <br />written staff reports and all public comment and testimony: <br /> <br /> <br />Section 1: California Environmental Quality Act Findings <br />The Planning Commission finds the project is categorically exempt from the California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15301, Class 1, Existing Facilities, <br />since the proposed use would occur within an existing commercial space involving negligible <br />or no expansion of use. <br /> <br />Section 2: Findings for Conditional Use Permit Approval <br />With respect to the approval of the Conditional Use Permit (Case P24-0635), the Planning <br />Commission makes the following findings as required by Section 18.124.070 of the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code: <br /> <br />Docusign Envelope ID: A921938A-B3B2-4029-83B5-9195C85C5909
