Additionally, the Seefried 50 acre East Pleasanton site,formerly Kiewit, has submitted a preliminary application for a 390 units+ up to 57 ADU's (totaling 447 units) housing project,further adding to the loss of Kaiser's inventory by another 143 units. Amongst other proposed projects included in the HE which may not come to fruition, these two noted sites result in a 325 unit shortfall in the 6th Cycle HE. After having recent individual discussions with the Mayor and City Council Members, there appears to be unanimous interest in studying-80 acres ( see attached exhibit) of USL Pleasanton Lake's County land for consideration of-450 units of Senior Housing in advance of the next RHNA HE cycle, which under a development agreement would be zoned and annexed but not be developable until the 7th HE Cycle is adopted when credits could be utilized by the City. With Senior housing, traffic and school demand will be minimized. Advanced and thoughtful planning for these units will fulfill the future housing needs for Pleasanton and its Senior population. 1
