1 <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICTS <br /> BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES <br /> May 16, 2023 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chair Brown called the special meeting of the Geologic Hazard Abatement District meeting of the <br /> City Council to order at the hour of 6:56 p.m. from the Council Chamber located at 200 Old Bernal <br /> Avenue. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Board members Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Chair Brown <br /> Absent: None <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> 1. Adopt resolutions approving the engineer's reports for the Geologic Hazard Abatement <br /> Districts (CHAD) for Laurel Creek Estates, Moller Ranch, Lemoine Ranch Estates, and <br /> Oak Tree Farm, declaring the board's intention to assess the properties for the cost to <br /> operate and maintain the districts, and setting June 20, 2023, at 6:55 p.m. as the date and <br /> time for the public hearing <br /> Recommendation: Waive the full reading and adopt Resolution No. 23-133 for Laurel <br /> Creek Estates, Resolution No. 23-134 Moller Ranch, Resolution No. 23-135 Lemoine <br /> Ranch Estates, and Resolution No. 23-136 Oak Tree Farm declaring the board's intention <br /> to assess the properties for the cost to operate and maintain the districts. <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Nibert/Arkin to approve the consent calendar as recommended. <br /> Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Board members Arkin, Balch, Nibert, Testa, Chair Brown <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Chair Brown adjourned the meeting at 6:58 p.m. <br /> Jocelyn Kwong, District Clerk <br />
