RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENT WITH THE 6TH <br />CYCLE HOUSING ELEMENT (P21-0751), STONERIDGE MALL FRAMEWORK (P22- <br />0969), AND OBJECTIVE DESIGN STANDARDS (P20-0989) <br />WHEREAS, on January 11, 2023, the Planning Commission held a properly noticed <br />public hearing to review the Stoneridge Mall Framework (P22-0969), Objective Design Standards <br />(P20-0989) and 2023-2031 (6th Cycle) Housing Element Update (P21-0751) and recommended <br />that the City Council approve amendments to the General Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, on January 26, 2023, the City Council held a properly noticed public <br />hearing to review the Stoneridge Mall Framework (P22-0969), Objective Design Standards (P20- <br />0989), and 2023-2031 (6th Cycle) Housing Element Update (P21-0751); and <br />WHEREAS, consistent with review and recommendations made related to P22-0969, <br />P20-0989 and P21-0571, the City Council reviewed corresponding amendments to the text and <br />land use map of the General Plan Land Use Element; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed and certified the Final Environmental Impact <br />Report (EIR) prepared for the 6th Cycle Housing Element, with which the proposed General Plan <br />amendments would conform and are thus within the scope of the EIR analysis. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1: The City Council approves General Plan amendments to the Land Use Element <br />as shown in Exhibit A. <br />Section 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book <br />of original resolutions. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a special meeting held on January 26, 2023. <br />I, Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a special meeting held on the 26th day of January <br />2023, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />_____________________________ <br />Jocelyn Kwong, City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />____________________________________ <br />Daniel G.
