That the proposed location of the conditional use is in accordance with the
objectives of the zoning ordinance and the purpose of the district in which
the site is located.
Some of the objectives of the zoning ordinance are to: foster a harmonious,
convenient, workable relationship among land uses, protect existing land uses
from inharmonious influences and harmful intrusions, and ensure that public and
private lands ultimately are used for the purposes which are most appropriate
and beneficial to the City as a whole. As conditioned, the Planning Commission
finds the proposed music school and heritage school programs would be
consistent with these objectives and would create more educational facilities
within the City. The facility would be operated so as to not impact or interfere with
the surrounding uses in that the number of students, hours of operation, drop-
prior to the event. (Project Specific
Condition)
P20-0994 Planning Commission
ed or maintained will not be detrimental to the
public health, safety, or welfare, or materially injurious to the properties or
improvements in the vicinity.
Religious facilities are a common use within or near residential areas in
Pleasanton. The City's past experience shows these uses rarely result in land
use incompatibilities and are therefore not detrimental to public health, safety, or
welfare, or materially injurious to the properties or improvements in the vicinity.

Plan as part of the improvement plans prepared by a California licensed civil engineer,
which include but is not limited to the type, location, and sizing calculations of the
PUD-114-01M& P20-0995 Planning Commission
Page 16 of 25
d) individuals.
PUD-114-01M& P20-0995 Planning Commission
Page 3 of 25
