CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br /> October 5, 2021 <br /> This meeting was conducted in accordance with Governor Newsom's <br /> Executive Orders N-29-20 and AB 361 COVID-19 pandemic protocols. <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> Mayor Brown called the teleconferenced special meeting of the City Council from various remote <br /> locations to order at the hour of 6:30 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Narum, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Absent: None <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT — None. <br /> ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION FOR THE FOLLOWING: <br /> 1. CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATOR pursuant to Government Code Section 54957.6. <br /> Agency representative: Nelson Fialho and Debra Gill <br /> Employee Organization: Pleasanton City Employees Association <br /> ADJOURNMENT —The special meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m. <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> Mayor Brown called the teleconferenced regular meeting of the City Council from various remote <br /> locations to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Narum led the Pledge of Allegiance and <br /> provided opening remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Arkin, Balch, Narum, Testa, Mayor Brown <br /> Absent: None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Dan Sodergren stated there was no reportable action. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> At Councilmember Narum's request, items 5 and 6 were continued to a future City Council meeting. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Councilmember Arkin recused from items 7 and 8 due to the close proximity to her residence. <br /> Councilmember Balch recused from item 10 due to BSK Associates being a tenant and an indirect <br /> source of income. <br /> City Attorney <br />
