1 5 <br /> THE CITY OF <br /> owl <br /> -'' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON <br /> September 21, 2021 <br /> Operations Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVE TASK ORDER 014-PLE AGREEMENT WITH ZONE 7 WATER <br /> AGENCY FOR ANNUAL STORM OUTFALL REPAIRS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Utilities Division is requesting to enter into a Task Order Agreement with Zone 7 <br /> Water Agency (Zone 7) to perform repairs in the City's outfall structures and drainpipes <br /> within the City's storm drain system along Pleasanton's waterways. The annual outfall <br /> project is a joint venture between the City's Engineering and Operations Services <br /> departments and Zone 7. The goal of the project is to improve the maintenance and <br /> repair of the outfall structures and piping by leveraging Zone 7's maintenance permits <br /> and on-call contractor. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a Task Order Agreement 014-PLE <br /> under the Tri-Valley Intergovernmental Reciprocal Services Master Agreement for <br /> annual storm outfall maintenance and repair work for a not-to-exceed amount of <br /> $200,000 annually for the next five years. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The services performed under the Task Order are primarily funded from CIP 22484- <br /> Storm Outfall rehabilitation that is funded for $200,000 for FY 2021/22 and $1,200,000 <br /> in FY 2022/23. <br />
