KEARS, Agency Director <br /> <br />EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE DISTRICT <br />55 Santa Clam Avenue, Suite 200 <br /> Oakland, California 94610 <br /> (510) 268-7355 <br /> FAX (510) 763-2323 <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />FOR DISASTER TRAILER CACHE <br /> <br />The Alameda County Emergency Medical Service (EMS) District serves as the local EMS <br />Agency responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating emergency medical services within <br />its borders. In this role the District is responsible for medical disaster preparation. Alameda <br />County Emergency Medical Service District has purchased and stocked trailer caches for use <br />during disasters. In conjunction with the Fire Chiefs EMS Section the District has selected certain <br />sites to store the trailer caches throughout the County. <br /> <br />The Pleasanton Fire Department agrees to house one (1) disaster trailer caches. <br /> <br />This Memorandum of Understanding del'roes the responsibilities of the Emergency Medical <br />Service District and the Pleasanton Fire Depzah~ent regarding disaster Ixailer caches. ALCO <br />EMS District and Pleasanton Fire Depa~hnent agree as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />Alameda County EMSD agrees to purchase and register trailer caches as well as <br />provide replacements for expired stock. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Pleasanton Fire Department agrees to house the disaster trailer cache and follow <br />related EMS policies regarding their use. <br /> <br />Diane Akers, Director <br />ALCO EMSD <br /> <br />Pleasanton Fire Department <br />Date: 7-/g' ~,5"' <br /> <br />Cadae.MOU <br /> <br /> <br />
