AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA/CONTRA COSTA COUNTIES <br />REGIONAL AUTOMATED FINGERPRING IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM <br /> <br /> County of Alameda <br /> and <br /> City of P)~santon <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 16th pay <br /> <br />of September , 1987 by and between the County of Alameda, State of <br />California, hereinafter called "County", and the City of Pleasanton <br /> <br /> Pleasan~n , Police Department, <br /> <br />State of California, for the <br />hereinafter called "City"; <br /> <br />WI NESSETH: <br /> <br />Session) provides for fundinq and procedures relating '. , iA ~j~A <br />Identification System; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a reqion composed of the area of the Count ~(~,v6 _.~ and <br />Contra Costa has been formed for the implementation and operation of an <br />Automated Fingerprint Identification System in compliance with Senate Bill No. <br />190; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the costs of the Regional System will be allocated to the users <br />within the aforesaid Counties on the basis of each user's share of population <br />for the Reqion updated annually; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there will be costs for implementation and operation of a local <br /> subsystem within Alameda County; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a Local RAN Board has been established for the area of Alameda <br /> County comprised of the following members: A member of the Board of <br /> Supervisors, the Sheriff, the District Attorney, the Chief of Police of the <br /> City having the largest number of sworn personnel, a Chief of Police selected <br /> by all other police chiefs within the County, a Mayor selected by the City <br /> Selection Con~nittee and a member-at-larqe chosen by the other members; and <br /> <br /> <br />
