PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-2003-23 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT AS FILED UNDER CASE PGPA-7 WHEREAS, Glenn Kierstead (California Splash LLC) has applied for a General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation for the approximately 10.77 acre parcel at 3320 Stanley Boulevazd from Retail/Highway/Service Commercial, Business and Professional Offices to Parks and Recreation; and WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of June 25, 2003, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff concerning the proposed General Plan Amendment; and WHEREAS, on June 25, 2003, the Planning Commission considered the Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared by the East Bay Regional Park District as lead agency, deemed it adequate for considering the proposed General Plan Amendment, and determined that none of the mitigation measures are relevant to the General Plan Amendment action; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed General Plan Land Use Amendment is consistent with the Goals and Policies of the General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Approves the application of Glenn Kierstead (California Splash LLC) for a General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation for the approximately 10.77 acre parcel at 3320 Stanley Boulevard from Retail/Highway/Service Commercial, Business and Professional Offices to Parks and Recreation, as shown on the attached Exhibit "A."
