PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. PC-2003-19 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CASE PADR-729, THE APPLICATION OF GREG AND <br />NANCY CROFTON FOR ADMINISTRATIVE DESIGN REVIEW <br />WHEREAS, Greg and Nancy Crofton have applied for administrative design review approval to <br />construct a 1,457-square-foot, two-story addition to an existing two-story house <br />located at 4757 Peaceful Lane; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) -MDR (Medium <br />Density Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of June 11, 2003, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature aze categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed house addition is in <br />character with the neighborhood and compatible azchitecturally with adjacent <br />buildings; appropriately relates to the building on site, including the scale of the <br />building; and has a high quality architectural style that relates the design to the <br />surroundings and the building components to each other and the building colors <br />and materials. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Approves Case PADR-729, the application of Greg and Nancy Crofton for <br />administrative design review approval to construct a 1,457-square-foot, two-story <br />addition to an existing two-story house located at 4757 Peaceful Lane, subject to the <br />conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
