PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-2003-15 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND CHAPTER 18.84 OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE, AS FILED UNDER CASE PRZ-19 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has filed an application to amend the Pleasanton Municipal Code to modify the current 23-foot front yard setback standard to a minimum of 20 feet for properties where the existing homes were originally constructed with a 20- foot front yard setback; and WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public heazing of April 23, 2003 the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff concerning the amendment to the Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, projects of this nature aze categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed amendment would provide Pleasanton residents with wider and often more appropriate design options for their additions. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PRZ-19, the application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Pleasanton Municipal Code to modify the current 23-foot front yazd setback standard to a minimum of 20 feet for properties where the existing homes were originally constructed with a 20-foot front yard setback, as shown on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
