PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2003-10 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />THE CITY OF PLEASANTON FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS <br />FILED UNDER CASE PUD-02-1D <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for design review approval for a new <br />fire station with apparatus bays and living quarters for the Livermore- <br />Pleasanton Fire Department located on a 3.26-acre site in the Bernal <br />Property Development located at 1600 Oak Vista Way; and <br />WHEREAS, the property is zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of March 12, 2003, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, environmental review for the proposed project was undertaken with the <br />Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) certified by the City Council <br />on August 28, 2000; and <br />WHEREAS, there are no substantial changes to the project or to the circumstances <br />under which the project is undertaken that involve new significant <br />environmental effects or substantially increase the severity of previously <br />identified effects, and there is no new information of substantial <br />importance not known at the time the Final Environmental Impact Report <br />was certified regarding the project or its effects, mitigation measures, or <br />alternatives; therefore, no additional environmental documentation was <br />prepared for this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed building is well <br />designed from the standpoints of use, function, appearance, and energy <br />and resource conservation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the application of the City of Pleasanton for <br />design review approval for a new fire station with apparatus bays and <br />living quarters for the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department located on a <br />3.26-acre site in the Bernal Property Development located at 1600 Oak <br />Vista Way, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto <br />and made part of this case by reference. <br />
