PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-2003-OS RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE, AS FILED UNDER CASE PRZ-07 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has filed an application to amend the Pleasanton Municipal Code by adding an ordinance that would establish locational requirements and City review procedures for electricity generator facilities, including turbines and engines that generate electricity, emergency backup generators, fuel cell facilities photovoltaic facilities, and wind energy facilities; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of February 12, 2003, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration prepared for Case PRZ-07; and WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the prepazation of Negative Declarations; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed project will have no potential for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that approval of the proposed project would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case PRZ-07, the application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Pleasanton Municipal Code by adding an ordinance that would establish locational requirements and City review procedures for electricity generator facilities, including turbines and engines that generate electricity, emergency backup generators, fuel cell facilities photovoltaic facilities, and wind energy facilities. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and adoption.
