PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-2003-04 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE REVISED HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS, California State Law requires all cities to update their Housing Elements; and WHEREAS, the California Department of Housing and Community Development has reviewed the Housing Element, with the proposed revisions; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received the report and recommendations of the Housing Element Update Task Force and Housing Commission; and WHEREAS, on January 22, 2003, the Planning Commission held a duly noticed public heazing on the Revised Draft Housing Element; and WHEREAS, on January 22, 2003, the Planning Commission recommended adoption of the proposed Negative Declaration for the Revised Draft Housing Element; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and the recommendations of staff, the Task Force, and Housing Commission; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the Revised Draft Housing Element is consistent with the goals and policies of the General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of the revised Housing Element of the General Plan dated November 2002 (on file with the Planning Department of the City of Pleasanton). Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
