PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-2003-03 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has prepazed an update of the Housing Element of the General Plan; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 22, 2003, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for an amendment to the Housing Element of the General Plan; and WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed Housing Element revisions; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed Housing Element revisions will have no potential for adverse impacts on wildlife; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that the proposed Housing Element revisions would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for an amendment to the Housing Element of the General Plan to include goal, policy, and program revisions. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
