THE CITY OF <br /> Planning Commission <br /> I Agenda Report <br /> m : <br /> L€ ASANTON August 28, 2019 <br /> Item 7 <br /> SUBJECT: Actions of the City Council <br /> August 20, 2019 <br /> Consent Calendar: <br /> Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> Councilmember Brown requested Council review the Planning Commission's approval of <br /> application P19-0140, Michael Hill/Limitless Axe Lounge for a Conditional Use Permit to <br /> operate an indoor axe throwing lounge located at 1809 Santa Rita Road, Suites A and B <br /> Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute amendment to contract with M-Group for <br /> contract planning services to extend the term and increase the amount by $552,000 <br /> Adopt Resolution No. 19-1106 authorizing submittal of an application for SB 2 Planning Grant <br /> Funds from the State of California, Department of Housing and Community Development <br /> Council approved the consent calendar as submitted, and as noted <br /> Public Hearing: <br /> Public Hearing: Downtown Specific Plan Update — Consider (1) adoption of a resolution to <br /> certify the Final EIR; approve a Statement of Overriding Considerations; a Mitigation Monitoring <br /> Reporting Program; and a Water Supply Assessment; (2) adoption of a resolution to approve <br /> amendments to the General Plan, the Downtown Design Guidelines, the Downtown Hospitality <br /> Guidelines; rescind the 2002 Downtown Specific Plan; and approve the Updated Downtown <br /> Specific Plan; (3) introduction of an ordinance to approve changes to zoning designations; (4) <br /> introduction of an ordinance to amend Chapter 17.24 (Transportation Systems Management) <br /> and Title 18 (Zoning) of the Municipal Code to implement policies of the Updated Downtown <br /> Specific Plan, as filed under Case P18-0050 <br /> Action recommended: Approve <br /> Action taken: Approved per staff recommendation, as amended <br /> Vote: 4-0-1(Councilmember Testa Abstained) <br /> Actions of the City Council Page 1 of 1 August 28, 2019 <br />ovided a new name request for the new public street, which is "Kingbird Court." <br /> Therefore, the proposed street name is before the Planning Commission for consideration.
