THE CITY OF Housing Commission <br />.... , <br />i� Staff Report <br />� <br />LEASANTON August 22, Item em 5 <br />5 <br />SUBJECT REVIEW OF HOUSING AND HUMAN SERVICES GRANT (HHSG) <br />PROGRAM CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND <br />EVALUATION REPORTS (CAPER) FOR FISCAL YEAR 2018-2019 FOR <br />HOUSING -RELATED PROJECTS <br />SUMMARY <br />The CAPER summarizes CDBG and other housing and human services projects for low - <br />and moderate -income persons supported by the City during fiscal year 2018-2019. All <br />Housing and Human Services Grant (HHSG) recipients must submit a final report which <br />summarizes activities for the fiscal year. On September 4, 2019, the Human Services <br />Commission (HSC) will hold a public hearing to review the CAPER for those projects <br />which were subject to the HSC's funding recommendation, which include CDBG and City <br />Grant for Human Services, while the Housing Commission will review accomplishments <br />for projects funded through the Lower Income Housing Fund and HOME Program. Each <br />agency has been asked to send a representative to attend and provide a brief oral <br />presentation of program accomplishments. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />It is recommended that the Commission hold a public hearing to review agencies' <br />accomplishments for housing -related projects funded through the Housing and Human <br />Services Grant (HHSG) Program. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There is no fiscal impact to the City related to the review of housing -related projects <br />funded through the HHSG Program. <br />Page - 1 - <br />
