THE CITY OF <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> ,,, _,_r I ',I <br /> _pL£ASANTON MEETING MINUTES <br /> City Council Chamber <br /> 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA 94566 <br /> DRAFT <br /> Wednesday, July 24, 2019 <br /> CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, AND ROLL CALL <br /> The Planning Commission Meeting of July 24, 2019 was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by <br /> Chair Allen. <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Commissioner Allen. <br /> Staff Members Present: Gerry Beaudin, Director of Community Development; Ellen Clark, <br /> Planning Manager; Julie Harryman, Assistant City Attorney; Eric <br /> Luchini, Associate Planner; Stefanie Ananthan, Recording <br /> Secretary <br /> Commissioners Present: Commissioners Jack Balch, Justin Brown, Greg O'Connor, Brandon <br /> Pace (arrived late), Herb Ritter and Chair Nancy Allen <br /> Commissioners Absent: None <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Chair Allen recognized and commended Community Development Director Gerry Beaudin for <br /> his four years of service to the City of Pleasanton as the Community Development Director. <br /> She acknowledged this was his last Planning Commission meeting before he departs the City <br /> of Pleasanton for a new role with the City of Alameda as Assistant City Manager. <br /> Approval of the minutes were pulled off the Consent Calendar for edits to the June 26, 2019 <br /> meeting minutes by Commissioner Brown: <br /> Page 4, fourth paragraph: "Commissioner Brown inquired about an alternate way for the City <br /> Council to consider the feedback from the public around parking, and he suggested that <br /> inquired if that City Council would have to redirect the direction provided by the Planning <br /> Commission identity downtown parking as a work plan priority item." "Mr. Beaudin confirmed, <br /> and indicated that the Planning Commission could recommend specific suggestions related to <br /> parking." <br /> Page 7, last paragraph: "Commissioner Brown thought the Planning Commission could break <br /> down the topics at hand... P19-0140, Michael Hill/Limitless Axe Lounge —Application for Conditional Use Permit approval <br /> to operate an indoor axe throwing lounge within an existing tenant space located at 1809 Santa Rita <br /> Road, Suites A & B. Zoning for the property is PUD-C (Planned Unit Development-Commercial) <br /> District. <br /> 3. P19-0059, Mark B. Lee/Lee-Jagoe Architecture, Inc. —Application for Design Review approval to <br /> construct an approximately 7,432-square-foot single-family residence with an approximately <br /> 1,603-square-foot garage at 4108 Foothill Road. Zoning is Planned Unit Development- Low Density <br /> Residential, Rural Density Residential, and Open Space (PUD-LDR/RDR/OS) District. <br />
