The committee reviews and prioritizes potential <br /> projects, provides input on policies related to bikeways and trails, and promotes community <br /> education and awareness regarding non-motorized forms of transportation. <br /> Meeting Time: Fourth Monday of each month at 6:45 p.m. <br /> Meeting Location: Pleasanton Senior Center, 5353 Sunol Blvd., Pleasanton <br /> Representative: Commissioner Ritter <br /> Alternate: Commissioners Allen and Brown <br /> Civic Arts Commission <br /> Promote the acquisition, construction and installment of works of public art in Pleasanton. <br /> Make recommendations to the City Council regarding the City Civic Arts Program. <br /> Meeting Time: First Monday of each month at 7 p.m. <br /> Meeting Location: City Council Chamber, 200 Old Bernal Ave., Pleasanton <br /> Staff Contact: Michele Crose, Community Services Manager, 931-5347 <br /> Downtown Specific Plan Update Task Force <br /> The Downtown Specific Plan (DSP), adopted in 2002, serves as a guide for the future <br /> development and preservation of the Downtown area and address issues such as land use, <br /> transportation, parking, historic preservation, design and beautification, and economic vitality. <br /> The key objective for the DSP update is to complete a comprehensive update of the plan to <br /> better reflect community priorities and incorporate more recent downtown land use and policy <br /> changes.
