THE CITY OF G <br /> immili� "" CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT 6 <br /> pLEASANTON, <br /> December 4, 2018 <br /> Community Development <br /> Planning Division <br /> TITLE: AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE MEMORANDA OF <br /> UNDERSTANDING AND LICENSE AGREEMENTS WITH PLEASANTON <br /> UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE <br /> OF FENCING AT MOHR AND FAIRLANDS ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) is proposing to install new perimeter fencing <br /> at Mohr and Fairlands Elementary Schools, both of which adjoin and share a property <br /> line with City-owned public parks. PUSD and the City propose to execute a <br /> Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and License Agreement for each site to <br /> document the roles and responsibilities of the parties with respect to the proposed fence <br /> installation, and to allow for the longer-term location and maintenance of the fences. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Authorize the City Manager to execute a memorandum of understanding and license <br /> agreements with Pleasanton Unified School District for installation and maintenance of fencing <br /> at Mohr and Fairlands Elementary Schools. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT <br /> None. PUSD will bear all of the costs to design, install and maintain the fences. No <br /> license fee will be paid by PUSD for use of the license area. <br />
