THE CITY OF 5 <br /> L��S�4NTON� CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> August 21 , 2018 <br /> Economic Development <br /> TITLE: APPROVE AN AGREEMENT FOR PROGRAM SUPPORT WITH i-GATE <br /> INNOVATION HUB FOR CITY OF PLEASANTON PARTICIPATION AS A <br /> MUNICIPAL PARTNER FOR FY2018/19 AT $25,000 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The City of Pleasanton has supported the development of the i-GATE Innovation Hub <br /> since its inception in 2010, during which the City has been involved as a Municipal <br /> Partner along with the Tri-Valley Cities of Dublin and Livermore, and the Town of <br /> Danville. The attached Agreement for Program Support formalizes the City's <br /> involvement as a Municipal Partner for FY2018/19 at $25,000 and outlines the <br /> reciprocal activities both organizations have agreed are of value to support innovative <br /> technology start-up companies in Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Authorize the City Manager to enter into an Agreement for Program Support authorizing <br /> the City's participation as an i-GATE Municipal Partner for FY2018/19. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The Agreement for Program Support identifies the cost for the City's FY2018/19 <br /> participation as a Municipal Partner at $25,000. This amount is not included in the City's <br /> FY2018/19 Budget and if approved by the Council will come from the City's General <br /> Fund. <br />
