THE CITY OF 12 <br /> - �- � CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON <br /> July 17, 2018 <br /> Library and Recreation <br /> TITLE: APPROVE THE SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE PROFESSIONAL <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BAY AREA CHILDREN'S THEATRE IN <br /> THE AMOUNT OF $124,749 FOR CHILDREN'S THEATRICAL <br /> PRODUCTION SERVICES <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Bay Area Children's Theatre (BACT) is the current city contractor for children's <br /> theatrical production services at the Firehouse Arts Center and the Amador Theater. <br /> Services include: professional, artistic, technical and administrative support for three <br /> annual children's theatrical productions. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the second amendment to the Professional Services Agreement (Attachment <br /> 1) with the Bay Area Children's Theatre in the amount of $124,749 for children's <br /> theatrical production services. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The proposed compensation amount in the Services Agreement with the Bay Area <br /> Children's Theatre for children's theatrical production services is not to exceed <br /> $124,749 annually. The term for this agreement is for one year. The expense of this <br /> agreement will be offset by revenues derived from ticket sales, school concerts, and <br /> participation fees. Funding for this agreement has been budgeted in the FY 2018/2019 <br /> Operating Budget in accounts #00150401 and #00150405. <br />
