THE CITY OF <br /> 2 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON <br /> July 17, 2018 <br /> City Manager <br /> TITLE: DESIGNATION OF VOTING DELEGATES FOR 2018 LEAGUE OF <br /> CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The League's 2018 Annual Conference is scheduled for September 12 — 14 in Long <br /> Beach. An important part of this Conference is the Annual Business Meeting. At this <br /> meeting, the League membership considers and takes action on resolutions that <br /> establish League policy. In order to vote on the proposed resolutions the City Council <br /> must designate a voting delegate and alternate in advance of the conference. <br /> Currently, both Mayor Thorne and Councilmember Pentin are registered to attend the <br /> Conference. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Designate Mayor Thorne as the City's voting delegate and Councilmember Pentin as <br /> the alternate for the 2018 League of California Cities Annual Conference. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no financial impact as a result of this action. <br /> Submitted by: <br /> i+1-. it/9F <br /> Nelson Fialho <br /> City Manager <br />
