CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, ALAMEDA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 04-004 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE KOTTINGER <br /> PLACE REDEVELOPMENT TASK FORCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 4, 2003, the City Council established an ad hoc Task <br /> Force for the purpose of exploring redevelopment alternatives for a combined and <br /> expanded Kottinger Place and Pleasanton Gardens; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Task Force's membership was to be comprised with 5 at-large members <br /> appointed by the Mayor, 2 members from the Housing Commission, 2 members <br /> from the Board at Pleasanton Gardens, and 1 member from the City Parks and <br /> Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, applications were received and interviews held with various individuals who are <br /> interested in serving on the Task Force and their qualifications evaluated. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby appoints 6 at-large members, thereby increasing the Task <br /> Fome membership from ten to eleven members. <br /> <br />Section 2: Barbara Hempill, Becky Dennis, Carl Palowitch, Christine Steiner, Craig Ristow, <br /> and Howard Neely are appointed as regular members representing the Community <br /> At-Large. <br /> <br />Section 3: Joe Jones and Kurt Weist are appointed by the Housing Commission as its <br /> representatives. <br /> <br />Section 4: Dolores Bengston and Bruce Fielder are appointed by the Pleasanton Gardens, Inc. <br /> Board of Directors as its representatives. <br /> <br />Section 5: David Choy is appointed by the Parks and Recreation Commission as its <br /> representative and Kathy Narum appointed as alternate. <br /> <br />Section 6: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
