12 <br /> THE CITY OF <br /> i_ c,. .. �..a <br /> MIN- CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON. <br /> May 15, 2018 <br /> Engineering <br /> TITLE: ACCEPT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR KOTTINGER GARDENS <br /> PHASE 1, LOCATED AT 240 KOTTINGER DRIVE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> PUD-101 (Kottinger Gardens) will create 185 senior homes and related site <br /> improvements located at 240 and 251 Kottinger Drive. Both properties are owned by the <br /> City of Pleasanton and are shown on Attachment 1. The project will be constructed in <br /> two phases. Phase 1, located at 240 Kottinger Drive, will replace the existing 50 senior <br /> homes of Kottinger Place with 131 senior homes; Phase 2 will replace the existing 40 <br /> senior homes of Pleasanton Gardens, located at 251 Kottinger Drive, with 54 senior <br /> homes. All the Phase 1 improvements have been constructed and the public <br /> improvements are ready for acceptance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept public improvements constructed with Kottinger Gardens Phase 1 for normal <br /> maintenance. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion and release the Performance <br /> Bonds and Labor and Material Bonds. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There will be a minimal increase to the budget for the maintenance of public <br /> improvements. <br />
