RESOLUTION NO. 18-1014 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO ADOPT A JOHNSON DRIVE <br /> ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ZONE TRANSPORTATION FEE <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 2178, which adds a new <br /> Chapter 3.44 to the Pleasanton Municipal Code regarding a Johnson Drive Economic <br /> Development Zone Transportation Fee; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 3.44.040 of Chapter 3.44 provides that the amount of the fee shall <br /> be established by resolution of the City Council. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. A new subsection I is added to section XI (Development) of the Master <br /> Fee Schedule to read as follows: <br /> I. Johnson Drive Economic Development Zone Transportation Development <br /> Fee <br /> (This fee is due at time of building permit issuance for new construction in the <br /> area subject to PUD-105, adopted by Ordinance No. 2171) <br /> Retail (per square foot) $28.28 <br /> Office (per square foot) $14.71 <br /> Hotel (per square foot) $13.70 <br /> SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective at the same time as Ordinance No. <br /> 2178 becomes effective. <br /> SECTION 3. This fee is to fund specified capital projects which were considered by the <br /> City in the Supplemental Environmental Impact Report for the Johnson Drive Economic <br /> Development Zone, certified by Resolution No. 17-976. Therefore, no further environmental <br /> review is required pursuant to 14 Cal Code Regs § 15273(b). <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on April 17, 2018. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of April, <br /> 2018, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Narum, Pentin, Vice Mayor Olson <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: Mayor Thorne <br /> Recused: Councilmember Brown <br />
