RESOLUTION NO. 18-1014 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO ADOPT A JOHNSON DRIVE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ZONE TRANSPORTATION FEE WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted Ordinance No. 2178, which adds a new Chapter 3.44 to the Pleasanton Municipal Code regarding a Johnson Drive Economic Development Zone Transportation Fee; and WHEREAS, Section 3.44.040 of Chapter 3.44 provides that the amount of the fee shall be established by resolution of the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. A new subsection I is added to section XI (Development) of the Master Fee Schedule to read as follows: I. Johnson Drive Economic Development Zone Transportation Development Fee (This fee is due at time of building permit issuance for new construction in the area subject to PUD-105, adopted by Ordinance No. 2171) Retail (per square foot) $28.28 Office (per square foot) $14.71 Hotel (per square foot) $13.70 SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective at the same time as Ordinance No. 2178 becomes effective. SECTION 3. This fee is to fund specified capital projects which were considered by the City in the Supplemental Environmental Impact Report for the Johnson Drive Economic Development Zone, certified by Resolution No. 17-976. Therefore, no further environmental review is required pursuant to 14 Cal Code Regs § 15273(b). PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on April 17, 2018.
