PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC -2010-06 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />BRADDOCK AND LOGAN SERVICES, INC. FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION, <br />AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD -84-21-04M <br />WHEREAS, Braddock and Logan has applied for a major modification to add 36 new <br />apartment units in five new buildings, a new clubhouse/rental office in one <br />new building, and miscellaneous site modifications at the Civic Square <br />apartments located at 4800 Bernal Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD -HDR (Planned Unit Development — High <br />Density Residential) District; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of March 10, 2010, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, this project is categorically exempt from the requirements of the California <br />Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Section 15332, In -Fill Development <br />Projects, Article 19; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed modification <br />would be consistent with other recently approved projects in the area and <br />the appearance of the building would not alter the natural topographical <br />features of the area; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD -84-21-04M, the application of <br />Braddock and Logan for a major modification to add 36 new apartment <br />units in five new buildings, a new clubhouse/rental office in one new <br />building, and miscellaneous site modifications at the Civic Square <br />apartments located at 4800 Bernal Avenue, subject to the conditions <br />shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br />adoption. <br />
