PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC -2009-10 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF BRADDOCK AND LOGAN FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD -84-21-04M WHEREAS, Braddock and Logan has applied for a major modification to add 12 new apartment units in three buildings and miscellaneous site modifications at the Civic Square apartments located at 4800 Bernal Avenue; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD -HDR (Planned Unit Development— High Density Residential) District; and WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of March 25, 2009, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and WHEREAS, this project is categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), Section 15332, In -Fill Development Projects, Article 19; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed modification would be consistent with other recently approved projects in the area and the appearance of the building would not alter the natural topographical features of the area; and NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of Case PUD -84-21-04M, the application of Braddock and Logan for a major modification to add 12 new apartment units in three buildings and miscellaneous site modifications at the Civic Square apartments located at 4800 Bernal Avenue, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
