PC-98-25 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF MT. DIABLO NATIONAL <br />BANK FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-98-19 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 8, 1998, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative <br />declaration for the application of Mt. Diablo National Bank for design review approval to <br />construct an approximately 13,400 square foot, two-story building for which the <br />proposed uses are a bank and office/commercial space to be located at 992 Main Street; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission received and reviewed the Initial Study dated March 10, 1998, <br />and received the recommendations of the staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity <br />to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations <br />and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed project would not have any significant <br />adverse effects on the environment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission further finds that the proposed project will have no potential <br />for adverse impacts on the site's wildlife. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval ofthe Negative Declaration for the application ofMt. Diablo <br />National Bank for design review approval to construct an approximately 13,400 square <br />foot, two-story building for which the proposed uses are a bank and office/commercial <br />space to be located at 992 Main Street. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />Finds that the proposed project will have a de minimis impact on the site's wildlife. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br />
