<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-98-17 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF KAZUO HATSUSHI AND <br />TOM HARLAN FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br />Z-98-35 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kazuo Hatsushi and Tom Harlan have applied for design review approval to <br />construct four, two-story duplex units (two units in two buildings, with each unit <br />measuring approximately 2,000 square feet in area) located at 228 Kottinger <br />Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is RM-4,000 (Multiple Family Residential, 4,000 square <br />foot minimum lot size) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of March 25,1998, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); therefore, no environmental <br />document was prepared for this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project is well-designed <br />and appropriate for the site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case Z-98-35, the application of Kazuo Hatsushi and Tom Harlan for <br />design review approval to construct four, two-story duplex units (two units in two <br />buildings, with each unit measuring approximately 2,000 square feet in area) <br />located at 228 Kottinger Drive, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," <br />attached hereto and made part ofthis case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
